Got down about 12 and gambled on a 6m which as the wind gradually increased for the right decision for me. Sailed back and forth then up the river where there was less wind and very choppy to escape from. Played around near the spit where there was more wind which gradually increased to comfortable 6m, sailing about a km in and out. About 10 others out and fiver kiters. I had about 4 hours on the water with a few rests, so knackered in the end. GPS gave some silly readings but did 46.9nm. Went home for a hot bath and home made pizza waiting on the table with a bottle of wine; perfect.
